Chris is currently the General Partner of Invictus Group, LLLP: Invictus Group LLLP is the parent company of That Bookstore In Blytheville, That Bookstore in Blytheville Publishing Imprint, and Founder/President/CEO of R.I.S.E.3 Global. Chris is the former Founder, President and CEO of Think Global Technologies and Think Innovative Media, firms focused on multimedia technology production, training and staffing. As one of the largest Authorized Training Centers for Macromedia and Adobe, Chris’ firms were responsible for much of the growth of multimedia production talent in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Think trained over 1000 professionals in web development, graphical & animation tools, authoring systems and other multimedia applications. Think also boasted of the largest intern development effort in the US with over 200 student internships completed.
Chris is the former President of The Speakers Forum™ International, Inc (TSF). For over 15 years, TSF has brought America’s top Keynote Speakers, Success Coaches, Celebrities and Authors to the Midwest with renowned speakers such as Og Mandino, Brian Tracy, Connie Pedesta, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Patricia Fripp, Tom Hopkins, Terry Bradshaw, Mark Victor Hansen and many more.
Chris was also the founder of CEO of Empowerment Plus, a motivational speaking company that specialized in Firewalking Instruction used as a metaphor to help people break through barriers in mind, action and experience. As Principal Firemaker, Chris led over 400 firewalks and thousands of participants to new levels of success and expanded the possibility of possibilities.
Chris is a nationally recognized expert in sales process consulting, business processes, personal development, canvassing, multimedia, coaching business success, professional effectiveness, personal achievement, overcoming diversity and life balance. He is an acknowledged motivator and successful workshop presenter. Chris has conducted and attended seminars and workshops at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Alverno College, Cardinal Stritch University, Marquette University, ITT Technical, Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, CEO Space, Future Milwaukee, and for many nationally recognized firms.
Chris has a comprehensive entrepreneurial achievement record. He has been an owner of several small companies with a host of prestigious clients (Honda of America, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, Johnson Controls, and Rockwell Automation. He has acted in the capacity of board member and consultant for many years with the Business Council, Ko-Thi African Dance Company, Citizens for a Better Environment, and several Chambers of Commerce.
Chris is a graduate of Marquette University’s Future Milwaukee program. He earned a BA in Communications from UW-Milwaukee with a focus on Sales and Marketing. Crawley earned an MBA and a Master’s of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University. Chris is committed to lifelong learning and self-actualization and is a graduate of the prestigious Executive Management Series at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Chris is planning to complete his Ph.D. in Education at the International University of Graduate Studies in St. Kitts.
Originally from Blytheville, Arkansas; Chris moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after high school graduation, aging out of the foster care system. Chris worked in Milwaukee for nearly 30 years. After a stint as a talent manager and literary manager in Los Angeles, Chris recently returned then moved to his home town where he serves his community as owner of a state and national treasure and cultural institution called That Bookstore In Blytheville and has recommitted himself to his personal mission at R.I.S.E.3 Global where Chris developed a curriculum that is aimed at helping 1,000,000 youth develop the skills and abilities to find get, and keep jobs; launch careers; start businesses and take them to scale. Encouragement from teachers, foster parents and caring community members contributed to a significant change during Chris’ youth to become an inspired educational and spiritual success with external grace, internal growth and personal development that continues today. Chris currently lives in Blytheville, Arkansas located about an hour from Memphis, Tennessee.
